The Black Pryncess
1942 Cadillac
Fleetwood style 7519-F
Formal sedan for five passengers
The Black Pryncess as I found her in a car
expo-museum in St. Louis, MO.
This is how she looked when it came time for her to find yet another new home
Note erroneous, chrome-plated headlight trim rings
[ in 1942, these were painted body color]

The Pryncess carries this CCCA "First
Prize Winner" badge
from the mid-seventies (#601)
New tail fins, tail-lights and back-up light [latter
still needs to be connected ! ]
Body Details
Left: hood emblem; right: rare, 1942 Cadillac
"Goddess"
The Pryncess is one of 65 such body styles
built; she is one of only 3-4 known survivors
Neat, tidy trunk appearance - albeit not factory
original
(top, bottom and sides have been carpeted)
Other known Survivors
Two other known survivors [Aitken, left, and
Mussatti, right]; there may be also a fourth car;
[ the Aitken car is trimmed (unfortunately, in my opinion) in red velour ! ]
