Derham (USA) custom "75"
limousine, sans fins (photo in SS 7/92, p.7). Cadillac enthusiast, Arjan Massar of
The Netherlands, wrote in August 2002: I have some pictures of a strange '58 Limo
without tailfins. I found it on the Internet. It's a specially built Limousine by Derham
Coach Company. This 1958 Cadillac 75 Sedan was ordered by the original buyer to be
delivered to the Derham Coach Company (of Packard & Duesenberg fame) for modification.
It was then used around town by its wealthy owners until 1992 the car has a special
low ratio rear end gear set).

Here is the Futura
combination limousine; this one carried
the writer, William Faulkner, to his final resting place

This Miller-Meteor Landau
Traditional is in need of some TLC;
in 2000, it was owned by Cadillac friend and aficionado
Brian De Ford who was kind enough to identify it as a Miller-Meteor
creation, whereas I had it listed in error as one by Hess & Eisenhardt

This butchered hearse once was a regular Miller-Meteor

The Beau Monde
combination hearse/limousine, in my opinion an unfortunate use of
the French beau monde, meaning "high society" or
"gentry" (unless the
manufacturer thought his vehicles good enough only for that class of deceased)

A surviving combination
coach

The Coupe de Fleur,
flower car [once again, an unfortunate misuse of French;
correct French would have required Coupé pour les fleurs or Coupé à fleurs;
in both cases the plural fleurs is appropriate since more than a single flower is
involved

A survivor ...barely
